Before you submit an enquiry or meet our team face-to-face, we’re here to guide you through our signature four-stage process covering brief and design; estimate and review; selection and pre-build review; and build. 

Stage 1: Brief and design

First thing’s first: the initial meet and greet! Here, we explore and discuss your aspirations, inspirations, and expectations of your dream home. This is the opportunity for our team to understand what you’re after—are you looking for a custom-built home or a knockdown rebuild in the current suburb you love? 

If you’ve already selected a block, we’ll provide an obligation-free inspection to identify any considerations for your build. If you’re yet to find a block, don’t fret—it’s quite common and we’re here to help you choose an appropriate block for your home! 

We’ll meet again to discuss your budget and identify the ‘must haves’ for your new home. Consider what you need to have and what you’d like to see as this will develop the design brief, which also takes into account the budget we’re aiming for. Working with our trusted external specialists, we’ll liaise with designers and architects on your behalf to ensure we can bring your vision to life or raise any issues that may arise down the road—nobody likes surprises around here! 

Upon the completion of your custom home concept design, you’ll review the plans and suggest any amendments to ensure they’re spot on. We’ll make any revisions required and once the concept plans are approved, we’ll revisit your brief and explore everything you’d like included in your Home Estimate. 

Stage 2: Estimate and review

Together, we’ll go through your Home Estimate. This breaks down your budget so you can see where every dollar is allocated. We’ll go over all costings and you’ll have another opportunity to make adjustments to the concept plans. 

Stage 3: Selections and pre-build review

Prior to us commencing the home building contract phase, we’ll ask you to sign a Preliminary Agreement to confirm you’re happy with the design and costings to date. We’ll prepare contract documents (MBA Building Contract and Contract Schedule of Inclusions and Finishes) and final working drawings, which detail every aspect of your new home. 

After signing the building contract, we’ll move into the pre-build stage where we’ll finalise all the selections with our professional design consultants. This is also the time where you’ll meet with your dedicated Project Manager and run through any final tweaks.  

Stage 4: Build

Now, it’s show time! Our team will start building and excitingly, you’ll start watching your dream home come to life—from the initial, through to the final finishes. We’ll keep you updated throughout the entire build before the pre-handover inspection, which is when you’ll get the chance to view your completed house. 

And then? It’s time for you to move in and enjoy your forever home.
